Our Impact

How we work

We are a small organization and raise all of our money via grassroots efforts.

Applications for high school students requesting assistance for a summer program will be available starting April 2019. You must have been notified of acceptance into one of these programs at the time of application.

Scholarships for undergraduate students needing assistance with winter preparedness and travel expenses will be available starting in the winter of 2018.

We believe that building a solid network is fundamental for success. Our hope is that through participation in our program, scholars will form connections with people from similar backgrounds who can help them achieve their goals. Furthermore, we also hope that scholars will form connections with students who they can help progress along their journey through higher ed.

“When you get these jobs that you have been so brilliantly trained for, just remember that your real job is that if you are free, you need to free somebody else. If you have some power, then your job is to empower somebody else. ”

Projected growth in dollars

2018 - 2019

This is Mi Victoria's first year in operation and our fundraising efforts will be focused on on small events and quarterly Chuffed.org drives. We will leverage technology and social media as much as possible during our founding year to maximize each donation dollar's impact. We expect that revenue will grow throughout the year as we raise awareness of our cause and partner with supporters who have a larger following. We will seek corporate donations for the first time in 2019 which will also help expand and diversify our revenue streams.
